Decorated in cool neutral tones, this is a lovely living space, with a lounge perfect for spending an evening snuggled on the sofa with a good book or a movie. Famous for its links to the 19th-century poet Tennyson, the pretty village of Freshwater is a fantastic base for exploring this part of the island. The village has a fine selection of places to eat and drink, as well as attractions such as the Dimbola Museum and the Freshwater Bay Golf Club. Other local places to visit include Tapnell Farm Park (2.5 miles), and Mottistone Gardens and Estate (4.5 miles). Walkers can explore Headon Warren (3 miles), Tennyson Down (2 miles) and the Needles (3.5 miles). A little further afield are the popular seaport of Cowes (15 miles) and Queen Victoria's Osborne House (17 miles).
