The perfect cottage for a family getaway situated in a pretty village with welcoming décor and furnishings. Escape with your family of four, or four friends, and two dogs, and enjoy this beautiful retreat in between busy days exploring the coast and countryside of North Yorkshire. A delightful space that has many original features including sash windows and beamed ceilings. Enter via the ground floor into the cosy lounge where you can warm up on the comfortable sofas in front of the roaring wood burner. Up a couple of steps, you will find yourself in the bright and colourful kitchen where you can make delicious meals to enjoy together in the pretty dining area. Open the stable door and let the breeze roll in. Upstairs on the first floor is a welcoming double bedroom, and a family bathroom which has a sumptuous freestanding bath. The other double bedroom is located on the second floor, with magnificent views of the beautiful surroundings. Outside via the kitchen’s door, is a quaint cobbled courtyard. Sit on the garden furniture and enjoy a morning coffee or dine alfresco after busy days exploring. Robin Hood’s Bay is a pretty village set on the coast and has plenty of independent shops and eateries. Head down to the little beach and bay (less than 0.25 miles) and explore rock pools and skim pebbles. From here, you can access several coastal walking routes including the scenic Cleveland Way National Trail which winds along the Yorkshire coast. Hop in the car and take a trip to the superb town of Whitby (5.5 miles), a historic town with plenty to see and do for all the family.
