The cottage also makes a great base for visiting the south coast of Devon, with Paignton (6.5 miles), Torquay (9 miles) and Dartmouth (6 miles) all nearby. On entering this bright and cheerful holiday cottage you will find the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This is a perfect space for you to relax in after a great day exploring this wonderful area, with tasteful furnishings, plenty of comfortable seating and a lovely dining area. The stylish kitchen is perfect for preparing your favourite meals. Heading upstairs, there are two cosy king-size bedrooms, each with a TV and pretty views. Stepping outside you can sit back in the enclosed back garden which features a patio area with furniture, a perfect space for catching up with a good book or enjoying a quiet drink in the evening with friends. The thriving seafaring town of Brixham has plenty to see and do, with local attractions including Shoalstone Pool, a replica of Sir Francis Drake's The Golden Hind and the beautiful Berry Head National Nature Reserve, which is situated just at the end of the road. You can also enjoy boat trips across Torbay to Torquay. The nearby town of Paignton has a zoo and an aquarium, and you can catch a steam train which runs through the beautiful Dart Valley. There's also a choice of stunning sandy beaches along the coast.
