This beautifully converted barn boasts spectacular countryside views and is perfectly placed to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Head west into Cornwall and discover the rugged seaside towns of Tintagel (25 miles) or Boscastle (19 miles) or delve into Devon and lose yourself in the beauty of Dartmoor National Park (25 miles). Set in 10 acres of pastureland, you can also enjoy walks from your doorstep or a BBQ by the nearby lake. The fabulous lounge area of this property is the perfect place to relax, thanks to its grand vaulted ceiling, exposed oak beams, floor-to-ceiling windows and exquisite views over the Tamar Valley. This is also a great sociable space for the whole party to gather to watch TV or play games, as the woodburner crackles in the background. Outside, you'll find a large decked area and BBQ, allowing you to enjoy al fresco dining in the evening sunshine, as well as a variety of outdoor games to keep everyone entertained. The accommodation is just 10 miles from the seaside town of Bude. With its laid-back charm, beautiful sandy beaches, quirky shops and surfing hotspots, it's easy to see why visitors return time and time again. Take a stroll along the cliffs or perhaps hire a rowing boat and while away a few hours pottering along the picturesque canal. Steeped in myth and history, the dramatic village of Tintagel, set high on the coast, has been inspiring artists and writers for years, and it is well worth pencilling into your holiday schedule. Thrill-seekers will enjoy Tamar Lakes Country Park (11.5 miles away), where you can take part in a wide variety of water sports, including windsurfing, sailing and kayaking.
