Spend your time away exploring the historical attractions, charming villages and beauty spots in the heart of the Peak District. In the evenings, you can dine alfresco in the garden or relax in the airy open-plan living space. Enter the two-storey property through the hallway and continue into the cosy lounge with grey, green and neutral tones throughout. Chic furnishings complement the country-style patterned curtains to create a traditional yet stylish feel. Natural light pours through the windows onto the sofa and armchair which sit in front of a TV and wood burner. The kitchen is sleek and bright with green tiles and sparkling surface tops on the fitted units and breakfast bar. On the other side of the room is a wooden dining table and chairs. Completing the interior is a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a twin and a double. Outside is a garden containing furniture and a BBQ which backs onto a stream. Off-road parking is provided for one car on a level gravel driveway within the gated area. Another car may be parked off-road on a gravel area at the lane side of the main gate. Head into Chapel-en-le-Frith to browse the boutiques and stop for a pick-me-up at a local eatery (within 1 mile). On the outskirts is a sailing club and golf club (2.5 miles). Take Fido for a sniff around the Ruin of Errwood Hall before walking around the Errwood Reservoir (9.5 miles). Put on your hiking boots and follow the trails around Jacob’s Ladder and the majestic Kinder Scout mountain peak (both within 8 miles). Spend an afternoon in the picturesque village of Castleton (5.5 miles) which sits beside the hilly Cave Dale gully and Peak Cavern (6 miles).
