You could head to the idyllic golden beaches of Croyde (4 miles), Woolacombe (6 miles) and Saunton (2 miles). Also nearby are the pretty coastal towns of Bideford (15 miles) and Westward Ho! (15.5 miles). Heading north you can explore the bustling seaside town of Ilfracombe (8 miles), where you can catch a boat out to Lundy.
