Plenty of cosy corners lay waiting to be discovered in this converted farmhouse, so step inside and get exploring. The ground floor is separated into a kitchen/diner, snug and a well-appointed lounge, so there’s more than enough space for everyone to unwind during some much-needed downtime. There’s also a handy ground floor WC and utility space down here. Whoever is charged with cooking dinner can enjoy some company in the kitchen/diner, a space equipped with plenty of seating and a TV for catching up on the day’s events. Moving upstairs, find three delightful bedrooms, a king-size, a double and a twin. Set off walking around the farmland and make your way down to Llanfair Caereinion, the local town just 3 miles away. One of the smallest towns in Powys, you’ll find a small handful of attractions and amenities in this sleepy spot, including the Cloverlands Model Car Museum and the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway that follows a scenic route along to Welshpool (11 miles). This border town is a must-visit with the National Trust-maintained Powis Castle and Garden (13.5 miles) well worth a tour.
