Guests are also within easy reach of Dalbeattie and the wonderful market towns of Castle Douglas Scotland’s ‘Food Town’ and Kirkcudbright well known as the ‘artist’s town’. Enjoy a trip to the castles of Caerlaverock, Drumlanrig and Threave or explore the historic Dundrennan and Sweetheart Abbeys. Golfers will be delighted with an impressive 32 courses in the region or you can just relax and enjoy the area's abundant wild life and the immediate magnificent coastal scenery.
