This handsome five-bedroom property, situated on a former farm in the small hamlet of Choseley, is located on the edge of a National Landscape and is surrounded by glorious countryside. Brimming with spacious elegance and luxurious comfort, it’s a good choice for a group of friends or extended family plus two dogs wanting tranquillity and walks from the door. A sense of grandeur sweeps through the interior and in the living areas, you’ll find plenty of antique touches including mahogany furniture, tapestries, large mirrors and an open fireplace. The lounge is a pleasant spot to unwind with its leather sofa and chairs – it has countryside views and there’s even a study area should you wish to catch up on some work. When it’s time to eat, step through to the sunny conservatory and feast at the table overlooking the garden, or for more formal occasions, gather at the table in the dining room. There’s also a breakfast table just off from the well-equipped kitchen. When it’s time for bed, an oak staircase sweeps up to the first floor where you’ll find an impressive en-suite king-size bedroom, a lovely twin bedroom, and fun bunk beds for the little ones. The property is on a former farm and shares the site with sister properties. Explore the surrounding countryside on foot or venture to the remote beach at Thornham (3 miles). Alternatively, head to Brancaster Estate (4 miles) where you can walk your dog on the beach, swim in the sea and discover the site of a 3rd-century Roman fort. For a livelier seaside experience, head 7 miles to Hunstanton and enjoy its promenade, amusements and summer theatre.
