Located in the picturesque village of Kettlestone, ideally situated in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside, this charming holiday property offers a great base for family holidays, welcoming up to two dogs. Retaining much of its original charm, the property boasts a selection of fascinating features including an exposed stone fireplace and an open fire. For outdoor adventures, Pensthorpe Natural Park (3 miles) has something for all the family with more than 700 acres to explore with a range of landscapes, gardens and wildlife within the reserve. Upon arrival, gather together in the lounge and you’ll find a selection of armchairs and sofas inviting you to kick back and relax around the open fire. Filled with colour and interesting artwork, this room is bursting with character. Next door is the kitchen/diner which is traditionally styled with dual-aspect windows and a table seating six. In addition, there is a formal dining room with an antique table and chairs and a feature fireplace. Upstairs, the first of the bedrooms features a generously sized super-king-size bed which can be made up as a twin upon request with ample storage and light pouring in through the two large windows. A second twin and a double bedroom with exposed beams above the head complete the versatile sleeping arrangements along with an extra single bed located on the landing. The bathroom overlooks the garden with a vaulted ceiling and a shower over the bath which is ideal for long evening soaks. Outside, the back garden is spacious with a large lawn for children to play and a table and chairs for your enjoyment. Guests are also welcome to play table tennis in the shared open barn. Make for the coast and spend a day soaking up the scenery at Blakeney National Nature Reserve (12 miles). For something a little different, why not hop aboard one of the wildlife-spotting boat trips where you may get the chance to spot incredible grey seals and other fascinating sea life? Further afield, Hunstanton is a perfect place for a quintessential seaside experience with amusements, a far-stretching beach and the SEA LIFE Aquarium ensuring plenty of entertainment for all ages.
