Discover the spectacular sweeping hills and vibrant countryside of West Dorset from the comfort of this charming cottage, a rural retreat for four guests with a love of the outdoors. Pack up a picnic and prepare for adventure, tackling the rocky and wild Jurassic Coastline 14.5 miles away or navigating the footpaths leading to historic gems such as the Cerne Abbas Chalk Giant 13.5 miles away. Based on a working sheep farm, the owners have even provided a welcome food package for your stay. Head through the oak porch and leave your muddy coats and shoes behind, ready to refuel with a hearty meal and good wine. The kitchen is a treat for enthusiastic cooks and has everything you need to prepare meals at leisure, and the lounge/diner is the perfect setting for relaxed family suppers. Watch TV and bask in the ambience, or step through to the conservatory to admire the pretty vistas with your morning coffee. The enclosed outside space backs onto the pastures of the farm, so you’ll have some gorgeous views to appreciate whilst you toast your toes in the heat of the chimenea. At bedtime, the upstairs bedrooms and generous bathroom are a sanctuary after a busy day.
