Shanklin is a true Isle of Wight gem boasting its own sandy beach and iconic bay, whilst the old town itself is awash with thatched cottages and is home to the majestic chine. Set back from the esplanade, this comfortable accommodation sleeps eight guests and is ideally suited to families and large groups. Spacious yet cosy, this holiday home has ample parking and oodles of outside space for enjoying al fresco meals in the summer sunshine. After a day of adventuring, you’ll want to kick off your sandy shoes and settle down with a well-earned treat in the open-plan lounge/diner. The large dining table is ideally positioned to take in the views of passing boats over a meal, and the lounge area has lots to entertain your entire party thanks to the TV, DVD and PlayStation. Sizzle up a breakfast fit for a king in the kitchen and dine at leisure on the outside terrace, and of an evening swap the coffee for chilled wine and try a spot of stargazing. You’ll have a choice of sleeping quarters and washing facilities including a handy en-suite room in the downstairs annexe and three bedrooms on the first floor, one of which is equipped with an en-suite whilst the remaining ones share the generous family bathroom.
