Attractive cottage situated on a small complex of similar holiday properties, sleeping up to seven guests, and located in the coastal village of Brighstone on the Isle of Wight s south coast.
The Isle of Wight has many wonderful beaches for visitors to enjoy, and guests staying at this property have one of these, Brighstone Beach, right on their doorstep. This sand and shingle beach benefits from the warm climate of the Isle of Wight s south coast and is a fantastic place to enjoy sunbathing, paddling, and swimming. The beach here is relatively undeveloped, making it a good choice for a quieter day by the sea. For those who prefer to have a choice of eateries, shops, and entertainment during their day at the sea, there is plenty of choice within short driving distance, including the popular beaches at Alum Bay, Ventnor, and Shanklin. Two shallow steps lead across a patio area at the front of this property to the front door, and once inside guests will find the spacious open plan living area. This dual aspect lounge/diner is a light filled space with patio doors at one end which open onto the garden. There is a dining table seating six, as well as comfortable leather seating, a Smart TV/DVD, DAB radio and a coal effect electric fire. Moving through to the kitchen, guests will find everything they need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. One of the bedrooms, a delightful double room with views across the Downs, can also be found on the ground floor, as can the bathroom with its shower over bath and WC. The remaining two bedrooms can be found on the first floor. The first of these is the master bedroom, a double room which benefits from a private balcony and an en suite shower room with shower and WC. The third bedroom is a restful twin room. An additional pull out single bed is available at an additional cost. The patio doors from the lounge open onto a delightful patio with garden furniture, where guests can enjoy alfresco drinks and meals. This area is open to a shared spacious lawn where children can enjoy playing, from where there are panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. There is driveway parking next to the property for two cars.
