Dairy Cottage is a period stone farmhouse on a small farm where horses are now kept. It is an attractive property with some rural views over fields to the downs and glimpses of Carisbrooke Castle from the master bedroom. The castle is within a 15 minute walk of the cottage. This is a lovely area which is popular with walkers who hike the numerous paths and trails. Local walks include the Tennyson Trail which runs all the way to Freshwater and The Needles. Cycle routes across the downs also start nearby. Visitors have the whole of the Isle of Wight at their doorstep as this central location affords easy access to all locations on the Island and puts any beach on both the East and West coast within a 20 minute drive. Dairy Cottage is a property with many original features and has been decorated and furnished with care. On the ground floor there is a spacious sitting room which has a large fireplace with a wood burning stove creating a rich homely feel to a comfortable and relaxing room.
