At the end of day at the beach, being able to head back to the tranquil hamlet of Penhallow is the perfect remedy to a busy day. Spend an evening in, relaxing on the shared lawns or cosy up with a fun film night. Alternatively stroll across to the village pub which just across the road from the cottage and enjoy a pint in the sunny beer garden whilst the children burn off some energy in the indoor and outdoor play areas. Exposed stone walls and slate floors lend an authentic air of country life to this single-storey property, with its welcoming living area and two attractive bedrooms. To the front of the cottage shared lawns provide guests with a spacious area in which to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet of life in this sleepy hamlet. Lying 2 miles from Whitehouse Cottage, the seaside town of Perranporth boasts one of Cornwall's largest and most impressive beaches, with the tide receding over 100-metres out at low tide, revealing acres of sand and hundreds of interesting rock pools where children and adults alike will enjoy hunting for sea life. At one end, a waterfront pub is the UK's only bar situated directly on a beach and offers a seasonal calendar of live music events in addition to the spectacular views.
