Perfectly situated so you can enjoy an idyllic rural setting yet just a short drive takes you to the nearby town of Barnstaple which offers an array of amenities, including the characterful Pannier Market and access to the popular Tarka Trail, and just slightly further, at Bideford you can jump on the Oldenburg and enjoy a day trip to Lundy Island. Beach lovers are also well catered for with numerous dog friendly beaches in the area, including delightful Instow, plus the surfing meccas of Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! also close by. Alternatively explore the pretty coastal villages of Appledore, Hartland and Clovelly, or Exmoor National Park, is just a short drive away and where outdoors enthusiasts can enjoy fabulous walks and scenery. Other attractions in the area include RHS Rosemoor, Tapeley Park, Arlington Court and Dartington Crystal. Closer to home, less than a mile away why not enjoy a day of fishing at the local angling centre. Located at the other end of the property is a beautifully light dual aspect super king size bedroom (can be made into a twin on request) with Smart TV. Nestling between these two bedrooms is a cosy twin room comprising a standard single bed and day bed/second single bed. The final room inside the property is a smart family bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Venturing outside and located to the rear of the property, further highlights await in the form of a delightful enclosed tiered garden with a choice of patio area, decking with sun loungers, garden furniture, BBQ and a lovely lawn area, perfect for alfresco dining! Here you will also find the fabulous private hot tub, enclosed within its purpose built hut with bifold doors, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside view, no matter the weather. There is also a large paddock provided, perfect for exercising your four legged friends, which is accessed directly from the cottage's garden. There is private off road parking for three cars to the side of the property.
