This open plan cottage is ideally situated for exploring the picturesque Northumberland coastline and is set in the gorgeous countryside of the link road between Whickham and Burnopfield. It is located in an area that was once part of the renowned Gibside Estate, previously owned by the Royal Bowes Lyon family. The town of Whickham is the perfect base from which to reach the famous tourist attractions of the MetroCentre, Hadrian's Wall and is just five miles from Newcastle upon Tyne, with local shops and a pub nearby. Golfing enthusiasts may want to have a round at Whickham Golf Club with its imaginative layout and welcoming clubhouse. This single level cottage has an open plan layout, all on one level, with every facility and feature required for a relaxing break. It is best suited for a couple or a family of three.
