In the attractive seaside village of Seahouses on the Northumberland coast, this holiday accommodation offers easy access to golden sandy beaches, beautiful coastal paths, and a village golf course with panoramic views. The area is perfect for nature enthusiasts, with boat trips to the Farne Islands – a nature reserve home to puffins, grey seals, and numerous seabirds. Several friendly pubs and a local supermarket are within a mile of the cottage. Just 30 minutes' drive away is the iconic Alnwick Castle, dating back to 1309, where scenes from Harry Potter and Downton Abbey were filmed. Nearby Bamburgh, with its impressive castle, quaint village atmosphere, and excellent dining options, is also worth exploring. This getaway sleeps four and welcomes up to two dogs. The cottage features a welcoming hallway leading to a cloakroom with shower and WC. The open-plan lounge and dining area provides ample seating with two comfortable sofas arranged around a wood burner-effect electric fire – perfect for cosy evenings watching the Smart TV.
