Osmington Mills is a quiet seaside hamlet 1 mile away and it’s the perfect starting point for a wild and rock-strewn walk, where you can gaze across the horizon in the direction of Weymouth. It is easy to see why this stretch of coastline was so popular for smugglers as the hidden bays and coves made it easy to transport goods and lure ships to their fate. In contrast, Weymouth 5.5 miles away is a thriving resort town with a fantastic rapport for seaside entertainment such as a sea life centre, a historic harbour and plenty of bars and bistros on the seafront.
