South Cottage is a dog friendly holiday cottage.
This charming detached property is set in the centre of the village of Mosterton, which boasts a local pub and shop. Combining contemporary living with character charm, it offers a great base for families to enjoy a relaxing break. Ideally placed for touring Dorset and Somerset, there are a selection of nearby towns to explore, such as Beaminster, Crewkerne and Bridport with its popular vintage shops. Head South and visit the stunning Jurassic Coastline, where you can spend an afternoon wandering through the quaint cobbled streets of Lyme Regis or stretch out on the beach at West Bay. Nearby, Charmouth is the ideal spot for a day out fossil hunting. A gate leads from the parking area to the front door of this detached and traditional, thatched cottage. Stepping inside to the welcoming hallway, there is a spacious twin bedroom to your left with feature fireplace. Opposite, is the dining room with original features and lots of space for all the family to enjoy a meal together. A door leads from the dining room through to the stylish, well equipped, galley kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. From the kitchen, a step up takes you up into a utility room with washing machine. Alongside, is a separate shower room with WC. Next door to the kitchen you will find the bright and airy lounge with cosy furniture and a Smart TV, the perfect spot to relax after a long day exploring the area. Heading back into the hallway you will find steep cottage style stairs leading up to the first floor. Here you will find two of the bedrooms, a king size and a double. There is also a cosy den with an Xbox, DVD's, board games and bean bags. Completing this floor is a contemporary shower room with WC. Heading outside, you will find an inviting enclosed garden which wraps around the side of the cottage where there is a patio area with a table and chairs, the perfect spot for al fresco meals and drinks. There is plenty of space on the lawn area for all the family to enjoy and there is off road parking for two cars outside the cottage.
