Stow-on-the-Wold is the quintessential English town, with its mellow Cotswold stone architecture, breath-taking countryside, ample country pubs and tea rooms it is ideal for enthusiastic walkers and tourers alike. Often referred to as the hub of the Cotswolds with a vibrant town square that’s just brimming with boutiques, cafes and restaurants. You are also well placed to explore the neighbouring towns and villages to include Broadway, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford. Further afield are the historic towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birth place and Cheltenham, home to the literature,food festival and Gold Cup. More local attractions include Chastleton House and Gardens, Blenheim Palace, Snowshill Manor, The Cotswold Farm Park, Birdland, Hidcote Manor, Daylesford organic farm shop and Chedworth Roman Villas. Step away from the hustle and bustle of the town square, down a shared passageway and through the gate where you will get the first glimpse of this quintessential stone cottage. The front door gives immediate access to the lounge area where there is space for coats and boots. When the day is done climb the wooden stairs where you will find two double bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms with WC.
