Brinkworth Park House is a dog friendly holiday cottage.
Reached up a long tree lined driveway this beautiful property provides the perfect getaway for families and larger groups. Once you enter you'll never want to leave but if you can drag yourself away then there a day trips aplenty on the doorstep. Robin Hood's Bay or Whitby with its historic Abbey and blue flag beach are about an hours drive away. Alternatively a day out in York provides something for everyone with fabulous shopping, the stunning cathedral, Railway Museum or Jorvik Viking Centre just a few of the great places to visit. Within walking distance from the property, through the private wood, is a path leading to Yorkshire Air Museum & Allied Forces Memorial. Also just a short distance away is the York Maze, the largest maze in the UK. An imposing entrance hall welcomes you to into the house, venture to the left and you'll find the formal ,drawing room with plenty of fun board games and small pool table to enjoy, kick off your shoes and sink into the comfortable chesterfield sofas in front of the impressive open fire. To the right, you will find the fabulous open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area where the attention to design and detail is superb. The kitchen area is well equipped with two electric ovens and an induction hob, steamer oven, built in microwave, two dishwashers, fridge with ice compartment, island and breakfast bar. There is a cosy seating area in front of the woodburner where you can enjoy afternoon tea and plan your adventures or simply enjoy watching a film on the TV/DVD. Leading through the archway takes you to the formal dining area where you can enjoy a lovely meal. A large utility room can be found off the kitchen with American style fridge/freezer with water and ice dispenser, washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading back to the entrance hall you will find a separate WC and staircase leading up to the first floor. the first floor consists of two king size bedrooms, one accessed under a low'ish beam, two twin bed rooms (one of which can be made up as a zip and link super king on request). Also on this floor is one bathroom with shower over the bath and WC (which can be locked off and used as an ensuite bathroom to the adjacent king size bedroom) and a shower room with WC. Heading outside there is an extensive garden complete with outdoor WIFI, summer house with patio furniture for al fresco dining and a charcoal BBQ for those warm summer evenings. The garden also has a fire pit with seating, ideal for toasting marshmallows and enjoying those clear night skies. There is also outdoor table tennis and lots of other garden games available. There is ample off road parking for four cars on the driveway.

Please note one of the king size bedrooms is accessed from the end of corridor which has a low beam.. 1 bathroom (which can be locked off and used as an en suite), 1 shower room and 1 separate WC. Electric oven and induction hob, built in steam oven, built in microwave, 2 dishwashers and fridge with ice compartment. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and American style fridge/freezer with cold water & ice dispenser . Wood burner in lounge and open fire in drawing/games room (logs included). Electric and central heating included, bathroom and shower room have underfloor heating. Bed linen and towels included. Off road parking for 4 cars. Wi Fi included, WI Fi router also fitted in the garden. Village shop and pub approximately 1.5 mile from house. Smart TV with Sky TV and DVD in lounge. Twin room and Zip and link room with smart TV's. Charcoal BBQ and fire pit. Nearby Elvington Air Museum now have a wedding license to carry wedding ceremonies.
