This property is situated at the heart of the traditional seaside resort of Eastbourne, just across the road from the town’s wide shingle beach. The town’s restored Victorian pier is just a three-minute walk away with its nightclub, tea rooms, and fish and chip restaurant. Other attractions in the town include an interesting lifeboat museum, a seafront fort built during the Napoleonic Wars, and a fantastic outdoor sports centre, which offers tuition in stand-up paddle boarding, windsurfing, and even raft making. There is also a good range of both high-street and independent shops in the town, as well as a wide choice of pubs, restaurants, and cafes.

Steep, narrow, cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor where the first of the property’s two bedrooms is situated: a double room which has a wrought iron bedstead and has been charmingly styled to create a tranquil retreat. The bathroom is also located on this floor and offers a sumptuous roll-top bath, separate shower, and WC. A second set of steep turned stairs lead to a single room which is situated in the eaves of the house, and therefore has a low ceiling and some reduced head-height.
