The Tortworth Shepherds Hut is a dog friendly holiday cottage.
Enjoying a great location within the borders of a former estate home for Tortworth, the village though spread out offers a bustling farm shop with cafe, an arboretum planted in the 19th Century with close to 300 rare and champion trees and stunning countryside of which you are free to roam. Also well placed with a variety of attractions to include Berkeley Deer Park, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and Painswick Rococo Garden. Spoilt for choice for keen shoppers with Bristol Cabot s Circus, Bath and Cheltenham all within easy reach. Across the river you can the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley an area steeped in history and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Step onto your private terrace and enjoy the views across the open countryside before stepping into the shepherd s hut where you will find a living area with lounge/kitchen/dining/sleeping area, get cosy in the lounge with the built in seats with tartan cushions, great for watching a movie or simply enjoying the view. The kitchen area has a gas oven and hob, fridge, kettle and toaster, well placed within wooden work tops. And for dining a pull down table for two. In the evening snuggle up in the comfy double bed that you pull down and look out at the stars. You will also find a shower room with shower and WC. Heading outside you will find a private raised deck with countryside vista and seating along with a courtyard area with seating to the side of the shepherds hut. There is off road parking for one car.
