Nestled in a peaceful location just a few steps from the friendly country inn serving ales and home made food, in the heart of the beautiful, historic, picture postcard village of Morebattle. The village offers excellent amenities including the country inn, a butchers, well stocked village store and Post Office. Located close to the River Teviot and Tweed, renowned for their excellent salmon and trout fishing. The immediate area also offers excellent walking, hiking and cycling routes with the famous long distance path 'St Cuthbert s Way' that s right on your door step, the beautiful Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park are within easy reach. Close to the wonderful towns of Kelso and Jedburgh, with their leisure and shopping facilities. Enter the charming, stylish, period cottage into the light, bright and spacious lounge, enjoying lovely countryside views over the rolling Cheviot Hills, with TV, French doors leading out to the rear patio and dining area. From the lounge you are met with the well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave, perfect for those wishing to cook up a storm. Next you will find the shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor, you are met with a spacious double bedroom with additional single sofa bed, perfect for families or friends, there is also a handy en suite WC. Venture outside, you will find the rear patio area that can also be accessed from the lounge, with table and chairs enjoying wonderful rolling hill countryside views, perfect for alfresco dining, or to perhaps enjoy a good local ale or a nice glass of wine. There is ample off road parking available next to the cottage.
