The popular historic marketing towns of Moffat, Dumfries and Lockerbie are all within a short drive and offer excellent shopping and leisure facilities. Located close to the magnificent Solway Firth spanning over 200 miles of spectacular coastline with numerous splendid sandy beaches to explore. Local attractions include Caerlaverock, Threave and Drumlanrig Castles, Robert Burns House, Aviation museum, an array golf courses and fantastic wildlife reserves. Enter the charming single storey barn conversion from the farm courtyard setting into the hallway, through to the light and bright spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area with TV and wood burner is perfect for cosy nights listening to the crackling fire or enjoy an evening meal in the dining area. The stylish well equipped kitchen area has an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, perfect for those wishing to stay in and cook up a storm, and a very handy washer/dryer. From the kitchen continuing through the hallway you will find the wet room with shower and WC. Finally you are met with a spacious, pretty king size bedroom with TV. Venturing outside you will find the wonderful private enclosed hot tub, benefiting from lovely views, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the countryside. There is a seating area ideal for alfresco dining, or to enjoy a nice glass of wine or a good local ale. Ample off road parking is available directly in front of the property.
