Take your nearest and dearest away to West Wales for a stay in this spacious country retreat. Sleeping four guests across two flexible bedrooms and welcoming two pups as well, you’ll be beautifully located for explorations around the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Return to your cosy cottage and fire up the wood burner for tranquil evenings in. Enter the property into the kitchen/diner where an exposed stone wall surrounding the range-style cooker grabs the eye immediately. All you need to whip up fabulous Welsh feats can be found here and you can settle to eat at the wooden table and chairs while discussing plans for the next day. A farmhouse door leads to the rooming lounge where a pair of two-seater sofas surround an unusual barrel table. Put your feet up with the dogs lying on the floor and watch a film on the TV as the wood burner crackles away providing essential warmth. Head up to the first floor via the staircase in the kitchen and find a double bedroom with a feature fireplace and rural views, and a twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into a king-size on request), ensuring flexible sleeping for families and couples. Both bedrooms share the bathroom which is also on this floor. Outside, there is a lovely enclosed garden with a lawn, a patio and picnic bench, and a small summerhouse. You’ll have the best of both worlds staying at this cottage: a countryside feel from being on a working farm, yet you’ll only be a few miles from the coast (Broad Haven and Little Haven). If you need to head into a town to scratch your retail itch or you want to brush up on some local history, head to the castle town of Haverfordwest. And you have thrill seekers in your group, Oakwood Theme Park is just 14 miles away.
