Just over a mile from the property is the western shore of Lake Windermere, from where the ferry runs across the lake to the opposite side. On entering the cottage, a flag stoned hallway brings guests to the lounge with its feature fireplace, comfortable seating, TV/DVD, and views across the garden. The pretty dining room has an antique dining table for four and a door leading out to the garden, views of which can be enjoyed from the armchairs, making this an enjoyable space to relax. The property s kitchen has a beamed ceiling and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. Half way up the stairs you will find the compact bathroom which offers a bath with handheld shower and WC. On the first floor you will find three pretty bedrooms: a double and two single rooms. There is also a separate WC on this floor. To the rear of the property is an enclosed garden with a patioed seating area close to the house, beyond which is a pretty lawn.
