Practical and welcoming throughout, your accommodation is studded amongst spacious lawned gardens with ample space for enjoying al fresco drinks. Leave your outdoor gear in the porch and unwind in the lounge/diner over tea and cake, settling down at the table or reclining on the sofas. There is a wood burner-effect electric fire for added cosiness, plus a TV, DVD and Hi-FI for entertainment. Lake Windermere is a mesmerising sight, 5 miles away, and if you stroll along the shoreline in the direction of Ambleside, you’ll be rewarded by a traditional launch service across the water. Coniston Water is also within 7.5 miles for pleasant walks, and the most daring amongst you will be thrilled with the proximity of The Old Man of Coniston, 8 miles away.
