Ideal for a family seeking a serene Dorset retreat, this tastefully decorated property is just a few miles from the delightful coastal village of Charmouth and the seaside town of Lyme Regis. A lovely holiday base whether you want to explore coast or countryside, this spacious detached bungalow is a wonderfully idyllic getaway. This welcoming and refreshing cottage features a cosy lounge with plenty of seating and a TV and DVD, making it an ideal space to unwind in with a movie or a good book at the end of a great day out. The fully equipped kitchen/diner is perfect for rustling up your favourite meals, and has a lovely sociable dining table with plenty of space. Exploring this bright and inviting property further, there are two peaceful bedrooms: a double and a twin, as well as a handy dressing room/cot room and a stylish shower room. Outside, a step leads down into the enclosed back garden. With a lawn, pretty flower borders and a sunny terrace with plenty of outdoor furniture and a BBQ, this is a lovely space to relax on a wonderful summer’s day. Charmouth (3 miles) has a range of great shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a pretty, unspoilt beach famous for its fossils, which you can find out about in the Charmouth Heritage Centre. Lyme Regis is just along the coast (4 miles), home to Langmoor and Lister Gardens, the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, several beautiful beaches and Dinosaurland Fossil Museum. Local attractions include Axe Valley Wildlife Park (4 miles), Forde Abbey House and Gardens (7 miles) and Beer Quarry Caves (13 miles).
