Take a stroll downhill towards the river or a little further into the pretty village of Weare Giffard, which boasts a traditional village pub serving local ales and food, cricket green and a park with a children s play area. The immediate area is also a perfect spot for walkers, with woodland walks and easy access to the Tarka Trail, where you can enjoy traffic free walking and cycling. Just a short drive away, visit Westward Ho!, with two miles of golden sands. The nearby town of Bideford also offers shops, pubs, restaurants and day trips to Lundy Island.
