An ideal romantic retreat for a couple or a pretty getaway for a small family, this lovely property offers relaxing, cosy accommodation throughout the year, and is perfectly located for exploring the glorious Devon countryside. The cottage is within easy reach of both Dartmoor National Park and the spectacular beaches of the breathtaking northern coast. Retaining original features including exposed beams, this light, welcoming and cosy cottage features a lovely open-plan lounge/diner with plenty of comfortable seating and a traditional wood burner which sits in a charming stone fireplace. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen, which is ideal for preparing your favourite meals, as well as two comfortable bedrooms: one double and one twin. Please note the first floor is reached via steep cottage-style stairs. The property also features a pretty back garden, approached via a flight of steps, with a lovely enclosed patio where you can enjoy a quiet meal or a glass of wine. With plenty of lovely country walks direct from the doorstep, this charming property is just 11 miles north of the wonderful Dartmoor National Park, with Exmoor a little further afield to the northeast (21 miles). If you like to cycle or walk then explore the famous Tarka Trail, or exploring and visit market towns including Okehampton (10.5 miles) and Great Torrington (12 miles), which is home to RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal. Heading to the stunning north coast you can explore the beautiful beaches of Westward Ho! (22 miles) and Instow (21 miles).
