Much more is on offer than just a break from ordinary life at Daisybank, a recently refurbished barn conversion full of character and curiosities both in and around this pretty cottage. Located on a 7-acre smallholding there’s plenty to find on the farm alone, such as the resident goats, chickens and a large enclosed pond with ducks to feed. From the sun lounger on the balcony, you can catch some rays and take in the surrounding woodlands: an especially pleasant experience when somebody is firing up the BBQ on your private patio below. Each room is beautifully decorated, with pops of colour and decorative touches tying together to result in a fresh and homely ambience. Designed with a reverse-level layout, the ground floor features an ample kitchen and dining area separated by a breakfast bar, as well as the bathroom and a twin bedroom. Upstairs is your living area: a charming double bedroom connects to the living room so you can start your days by crossing the wood flooring, stepping out of the double doors and onto the sun terrace for a little country air with your morning coffee. As well as the farm, there is a summerhouse and picnic area on the smallholding with incredible views of the nearby moors. The market town of Holsworthy is 1 mile away, reachable on foot, and is home to local shops, pubs, restaurants, a weekly farmers' market and frequent community events drawing visitors from afar. The famous seaside town of Bude is within reach at 11 miles away, offering plenty in the way of beaches, water sports, amusements and shopping. You can also access the stunning South West Coast Path here for a blustery clifftop walk.
