1 Bedroom Bed in Leek (PK875)

Located high up on the south west edge of the Peak District National Park this cottage offers stunning views across the valley to Tittesworth Reservoir, The Roaches and the moors behind. Although this is a quiet area the cottage is an excellent base for enjoying all of the Peak District. Outside you will hear skylarks curlews and the occasional baa from our rare-breed Soay sheep; inside you will enjoy comfy vintage furniture, and a warm welcome - complete with a few locally made (or laid) treats. The cottages benefit from all home comforts while outside you will hear skylarks and curlews from the garden. Both cottages are accessed from a short private driveway to the property adjacent to the owners farmhouse. Walk through the lawned garden to reach the entrance in the gable end of the cottage the hallway is then up two steps. Immediately opposite the entrance is the bedroom with a super king size bed (which can be split into two 3’ single beds on request) with picture views of the surrounding countryside. Up a single step and on the left of the hall is the bathroom with shower toilet and hand basin. A further door leads through into the good sized lounge / dining room with windows on two elevations. Two further steps from the lounge take you to the well equipped kitchen with all the essential equipment you will require for your stay. There is a private sitting out area under the bedroom window where you can soak up the dramatic and far reaching views of the surrounding area.
