Inside, there’s traditional charm, with exposed beams supporting high ceilings, wrought-iron fittings and wooden floors throughout. The property is all on one level but access does involve two steps. The light and airy kitchen/diner has a large table for family meals, and the cosy lounge is the perfect place to relax together and plan the next day’s outing. Further afield, the pleasant market town of Bideford (11 miles away) has a quaint quayside and a bustling pannier market.
