With a wood burner, an open-plan layout and a garden, everything you need for a romantic getaway is in one neat and lovingly decorated space. Admire the countryside views from this property and explore the surrounding market towns, nature reserves and National Trust properties in Shropshire. Climb four steps to enter the shepherd's hut and make yourself at home in the cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with neutral-toned walls and wooden furnishings beneath the arched ceiling. On one side of the space is a warming wood burner which sits opposite the compact one-wall farmhouse-style kitchen with wooden countertops and grey cabinets. Adjacent is a small wooden breakfast bar with two stalls, an armchair and a TV. Continue into the bedroom area to find a comfortable double bed. Completing the interior is a shower room with a WC. Outside, you can relax on the bistro set in the garden with a BBQ. During your stay in the rural Shropshire countryside, just over the border from Wales to England, you’ll be just 4 miles from Ludlow, which you can visit for a date night meal out or to look around the grand Norman castle beside the winding River Terne.
