The historic unspoiled seaside resort and fishing port of Lyme Regis is nearby. Its historic Cobb and harbour are iconic features, set against blue cliffs yielding fossilised evidence of life on earth millions of years ago. Just a short drive will take you to the lively market town of Bridport with many pubs, shop and restaurants. Just a mile south of the town is the charming fishing village of West Bay. There are many attractions in the area including Jurassic Fun Centre, River Cottage HQ, Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and Axe Valley Wildlife Park.
