Located in the historical picturesque village of Roslin. Home to one of Scotland s most remarkable buildings the Rosslyn Chapel. This amazing gothic chapel is set in the beautiful Glen Country Park, also home of Rosslyn castle, Wallace s Cave and Gun Powder Mills and was made even more famous by Dan Browns worldwide best seller The Da Vinci Code and the subsequent film. Nestled in the shadows of the Pentland hills, perfect for walkers, hikers and mountain bikers to explore. Roslin boasts renowned eateries and friendly local pubs to enjoy. Take a short trip to Hillend, where you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Golfers can enjoy local courses close at hand and fishing is available on the nearby North Esk. Entering the stylish beautiful period cottage from the pretty front garden, through to the light and bright spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area with wonderful exposed stone walls and lovely fire place, with a roaring coal effect gas fire to enjoy. It is the perfect place to relax and perhaps watch a great movie, or catch up with your favourite TV program on the TV, after a day out exploring the fantastic local area. The lovely well equipped kitchen is ideal for those wishing to cook, with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a handy washing machine. The dining area with ample seating for four guests, is the perfect place to enjoy meals together. Next is the stylish shower room with shower and WC. Followed by the beautiful king size bedroom with patio doors leading out to the rear garden. Heading up the stairs to the first floor, you are met with the delightful king size bedroom with ample storage space, TV and spacious en suite bathroom with bath and WC. Venturing outside to beautiful mature shared rear garden, with patio and private seating area, perfect for al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing across the beautiful Pentland Hills.
