Stylish lighting and warm pops of colour balance against cool blues, and nautical touches bring a bit of the beach inside with you. If you are after the real thing, just grab your towel and wander down to the awaiting ocean below. Newquay is home to a great number of well-renowned beaches, where splashing about in the shallows is as popular as the more adventurous surfing and kitesurfing.
