The spacious lounge/diner is an ideal room to relax in, with a vaulted ceiling, exposed ceiling beams, a welcoming wood burner and plenty of seating, along with a TV and DVD so you can unwind with a favourite movie in the evening. The charming dining area is perfect for sharing a family meal which you can rustle up in the fully equipped kitchen reached via a couple of steps up. There are three tastefully decorated lower-ground-floor bedrooms: an en-suite double with sea glimpses, a twin, and a super-king-size room, both with views towards the sea. There’s also a stylish family bathroom. A private enclosed garden with a patio and BBQ can be reached via the shared garden with a children’s play area, and the fantastic play barn has slides, children’s play equipment and a trampoline. You can also watch the cows being milked by arrangement with the owner.


Close to the Marsland Valley Nature Reserve, the cottage makes a great base for exploring the Hartland Heritage Coast, with some superb beaches and breathtaking cliff-top walks nearby. Popular destinations include the thriving seaside town of Bude (9.5 miles) and the historic village of Clovelly (12.5 miles). Also nearby are Duckpool Bay, Welcombe Mouth Beach and Hartland Abbey (all within 11 miles).
