Down by the wonderful quarry lake, you’ll find the UK’s premier scuba diving centre and PADI dive school, so you can get into the water during your trip here. For more outdoor adventure, go walking in Yorkshire Dales or the Forest of Bowland, both within a 20-mile trip, or head 10 miles to the shores of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Carnforth is less than a 10 minute drive away, with a vast array of shops or plenty of eateries to choose to eat at.

The lounge/kitchen diner with a balcony and views over the lake is the heart of this delightful lodge. Cosy up in front of the log burner effect fire in the charming lounge space to plan your holiday adventures and relax with the TV each evening. The kitchen area is set up with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer too. There are two super-king-size zip-and-link beds (which can be made into twins on request); one on the ground floor and one on the lower ground floor. Freshen up in the ground-floor shower room with a WC. On the lower ground floor, there’s also a king-size room with its own balcony and a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, shower and WC.

There are multiple balconies where you can sit out and share a drink. Fire up the BBQ to dine in the fresh air while enjoying the view. There’s a hot tub offered for use at a small cost if booked prior to arrival - to conserve energy the hot tub will only be available if pre-arranged.
