Bude is slightly further afield, although still an easy drive with several sandy beaches, golf course, canal-side artisan cafes, surf shops, a local history museum and art gallery. The pretty coastal villages of Appledore and Instow are also well worth a visit and offer a variety of fish restaurants, bars and delicatessens. Other attractions such as Hartland Abbey and Hartland Quay, The Milky Way, The Big Sheep Adventure Park, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor are also within easy reach.

Head up three steps or via the ramp onto the gated veranda of this single storey lakeside lodge and through the front door into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. The breakfast bar provides an informal dining area next to the comfortable lounge where you can relax with a good book in front of the Smart TV. Located off the lounge are the two bedrooms: one double and one twin. Completing the offering is a shower room with luxury jet-spray shower and WC.
