Situated in the heart of Tetford village, close to the dog-friendly pub, Garden Cottage is perfect for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds (AONB). Behind the property are playing fields, perfect for exercising your dog, and a children’s playground. Nearby attractions include the coast with sandy beaches perfect for walking and including the newly opened National Trust Visitor Centre in Sandilands. The Roman town of Horncastle, known for its many antique shops is close by, as is the Georgian market town of Louth, which hosts three weekly markets and enjoys many coffee shops and restaurants. Lincoln, with its stunning cathedral featured in The Da Vinci Code, The International Bomber Command Centre, and Lincoln Castle home of the Magna Carta, is also worth visiting. Aviation enthusiasts can explore the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight visitor Centre at Coningsby, 15 miles away. For active visitors, there are excellent walking and cycling routes, while golfers can enjoy Woodhall Spa Golf Club, 12 miles away, or Kenwick Park Golf Club, 7 miles away.


Stepping into this pretty cottage, you will find the charming living area which has exposed brickwork and beams creating a characterful feel to this space. Curl up on the comfortable sofas and watch a movie on the Smart TV or with the huge collection of DVDs provided. There is also an electric fire, should the chilly nights prevail. The chef of the group will enjoy cooking up delicious dinners and preparing breakfasts in the cottage-style kitchen/diner, a welcoming and spacious area to enjoy. A utility room contains laundry facilities as well as a useful downstairs WC and handbasin. As the day closes in, climb upstairs and choose from one of two lovely bedrooms. The bright and airy king-size room has a TV with Freeview, and the twin bedroom contains a Smart TV and DVD player. Both bedrooms make use of the family bathroom which has a shower over the bath, and a WC.
