For a traditional, buckets-and-spades-type experience, the seaside resort of Swanage (21 miles) makes a lovely day out. Here, you can hire a beach hut, walk along the Victorian pier, catch a steam train to Corfe Castle, or join a boat trip to visit the harbour town of Poole. Other nearby excursions include the sailing town of Weymouth (10 miles) and the vibrant market town of Bridport (21 miles).

Upstairs, two tranquil double bedrooms await, with plush linens and plenty of storage for all your holiday attire. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower room, and there’s also a separate bathroom on this level. Both bedrooms enjoy access to the balcony, where you can unwind with your morning coffee and listen to the sounds of nature.


Bi-fold doors from the living area lead to the private garden, where you’ll find a decked terrace with furniture for al fresco dining and a small lawn that’s ideal for four-pawed guests.
