Trevone Beach is flanked by rugged cliffs that plunge into the Atlantic, with fine sand, rocky outcrops, and gentle shallows safe for swimming and paddling. A tidal sea pool along the cliff path towards Harlyn Bay (3 miles) is revealed at low tide – a striking spot to cool off between coastal walks. The village forms part of Cornwall's Seven Bays, a string of beaches each with its own character, connected by the South West Coast Path. Sheltered alcoves below the cliffs provide spots for a picnic with views out across the water, while Padstow, with its vibrant harbour, is 2 miles away.
