Built as a Fisherman s cottage set in a perfect location, this characterful property provides spacious accommodation with a stylish interior. It is an ideal base from which to explore The New Forest, sail the Solent, discover the beaches along the south coast and visit The Isle of Wight. Lymington is a picturesque town, with a Georgian high street. Offering a variety of independent shops, high quality restaurant s and gastro pubs. The pretty cobbled lane takes you to the historic harbour with views across the Solent. Famous for its sailing heritage and Olympic success, the town is also surrounded by natural beauty. To the north and west are the ancient woodlands and heathland of The New Forest. To the east, the Keyhaven Nature Reserve and the Solent Way coastal route. To the south is the Dorset coast line including 14 miles of stunning sandy beaches. A stylish property with a well equipped kitchen, which includes a Rangemaster stove and a large American style fridge freezer. The dining room with its original 200 year old wood flooring and fire place, is complete with large dining table and seating for six. The sitting room is well proportioned with a wood burning stove perfect for a cosy night in front of the fire. Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms; The main bedroom has a double bed with ensuite including a shower and WC. The second a double bed and original fireplace and the third contains two single beds. The rooms are full of character and have a good amount of storage. The main bathroom includes a shower over the bath and WC. Outside the cottage there is a charming enclosed south west facing garden with mature planting covering several levels, with patios, garden furniture and a summer house.
