Spend a day in the historic Richmond (15 miles) where you can browse the independent shops, take a riverside walk and visit the impressive Norman Richmond Castle. Other places to visit nearby include the dramatic waterfalls of Aysgarth Falls (13 miles), the flower filled meadows of Muker (5 miles), the ruins of Bolton Castle (10 miles) and the charming village of Hawes (14 miles) where you can visit the Wensleydale Creamery or Dales Countryside Museum.
