Take a drive to Portland Bill Lighthouse (12 miles), where dramatic vistas and fresh sea air make it well worth the trip. Nearby, the historic town of Dorchester (7 miles) offers museums, markets and a rich heritage to discover. And for some of Dorset’s most iconic scenery, don’t miss Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door (13 miles).
