Keen walkers can head inland to explore the magnificent Blackdown Hills National Landscape which lies to the north (10 miles), with other local attractions and landmarks including the Symondsbury Estate, Coney's Castle, Forde Abbey and Gardens, and the site of the ancient Blackbury Camp, all within 14 miles.
