The Forest of Bowland (21 miles), the Three Peaks area around Ingleborough (6 miles), and Clapham and Ingleton (both 7 miles) offer rewarding days out, while High Bentham’s high street provides shops, a tourist information point, pubs, cafes, and Chinese, Indian and traditional fish and chips takeaways. Golfers can test themselves at the local course with views towards Ingleborough, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside (all under 15 miles).
